645 Second Street is the semi-detached home shown on the left-side of this historic photo (taken sometime in the 1920's). The structure was originally built as a 2-room school house, one of the earliest public schools in Trenton, and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The building was converted to residences in the early twentieth century.
HHG is restoring this home with the same quality and features as other Trenton Ferry properties. Downstairs, the home features a living/dining room in the front, and kitchen in the rear, with a powder room. Upstairs, two bedrooms (front and back) share a bath.
This home is a deed restricted affordable unit, which can be sold only to income qualified buyers. More information about this process is available here.
